The Mightiest

This poem shall our book define:
not all that glitters is gold,
and love does conquer all.
Because might can come from within.
Thus it begins, “Once upon a time…”

"A book that teaches us that appearances can fool us, that love moves mountains, and that true strenght can't be seen and goes much farther than physical looks" - ApegoyLiteratura

Review on the blog Apegoyliteratura

Apegoyliteratura echoes our book and some of its images, a very good initial introduction for the hypothetical interested reader.

Margarita del Mazo

She was born in Malpica de Tajo (Toledo), next to a castle full of legends that her grandmothers used to tell her about. As a child, she was already a storyteller, so, although she graduated in Law, she soon saw how her path twisted towards the world of stories. And she has been telling tales for more than two decades, telling for all the ears that want to listen. She tells stories out loud and on paper. And she says to live by the story, not only because it gives her a living, but because she cannot live without telling. She is the author of more than twenty titles, some of which can be found in more than twelve languages. Her works have won numerous National and International Awards: Lazarillo Award for Enlightened Album, Gold Medal at the Bratislava Biennial 2013, Booksellers Guild Award 2014, Cuatrogatos Foundation Award 2016,  Best Children's Fiction Picture Book at the International Latino Book Awards 2016, Gelett Burgess Awards 2016, Juul Award 2017, Cuatrogatos Foundation Award 2018.
